How cute is the flamingo phone case from Kidogo Kidogo?! It reminds me of when my husband and I went to Hawaii for our honeymoon. We had flamingos at our hotel, and I loved going out in the morning and seeing them. I love the Kidogo Kidogo phone cases because every time you purchase one, it helps go towards purchasing a phone for a woman in Tanzania. These women don't have phones, and their ways of communicating with people in other towns is limited. We all know what our phones can do. They can be a flashlight, calculator, they can show us the weather forecast, and keep us organized. Plus we are able to call, text, and email with them. 

Even though my favorite accessory is probably my purses, my phone is the most used. I need my phone to be protected, so I always have a case on them. Why not purchase a phone case that helps someone else receive a phone? Cell phones are live changing, and I'm so glad Kidogo Kidogo is helping low-income women receive phones. Also-I LOVED reading the stories from women who have received phones. Please take the time to read them!

I love navy. My closet is mostly filled with navy or black clothing, and I'm okay with that. Literally every time I go shopping, my eye goes towards the navy and black. My husband always tells me to branch out, but I just can't help myself. Both my purse and my flannel top were birthday presents from my husband (that I helped pick out), and I always want to wear this outfit now. It's so comfortable, and my purse goes lovely with it. 

Are you guys ready for Halloween? I finished sewing my costume on Sunday night, and I am SO excited to share it with you guys. It's nothing spectacular, but it was my first sewing project that actually mattered. **side note-my parents got me a sewing machine for graduation, and I've been sewing little headbands and zipper pouches for practice** Anyway-it's the first year that I'm actually excited about Halloween because I'm so proud of my little homemaker self. I love oversized sweaters, so when I saw this sweater at Target I made sure to buy an XL. I roll the sleeves up a bit so that it doesn't look sloppy. I love pairing this sweater with my leggings and booties. When it's colder, it goes perfect with my riding boots and snow boots! I love the cream color because it's the perfect neutral. I can put a vest on over it, or even my winter coat for cold nights out. Can you tell I'm loving the fall weather!? What's your favorite thing to wear in the fall?

I was on the look out for an aztec sweater for probably 2 years. When I did find one that I liked, the store was out of my size. This year at the Nordstrom Anniversary sale, I found this Aztec sweater and I fell in love. I love that it's not just black and white, but has the pop of red in it. I love that you can pair it with leggings because it covers the bum ;) OR you can pair it with skinny jeans. 

Now, you guys know I love leggings. I wear them a lot. The problem is, I need thicker leggings because I live in Utah where they claim to have the greatest snow on earth (it's on the license plates), so it's going to be very cold in the winter. Agnes and Dora is definitely my go to when it comes to leggings. I have about 6 pair in my drawer right now. Their leggings are so soft and thick enough that they keep you warm, but thin enough that you aren't dying of heat when you're inside. They have solid color leggings as well as printed leggings (I love my camo and leopard print ones). Agnes and Dora even has home parties. My friend Kelsee hosted one earlier this summer, and it was really fun. We were able to see more prints and patterns at the home party, so they are a must!

I love fur vests. Every time I see one I think that I HAVE to have it. I had been wanting the fur vest from Brickyard Buffalo, but they were always sold out when I went to purchase it. After 5 attempts, I FINALLY got it! I like it because it doesn't swamp me like my other fur vest does (it's pretty big). I also like the texture that it adds to my outfit.

So random side note: my mom comes this week! I am so excited for her to get here. My parents live in Oklahoma so I don't get to see them very often. When we are together though, we are always on the go. I can't wait to take her up to Tibble Fork to show her how beautiful it is right now! My aunts are coming for a few days as well, and I can't wait to take them to my favorite restaurants and go shopping!

Tibble Fork is one of my favorite places to go in Utah. The lake is so clear that it changes colors depending on where the light hits it. Sometimes it's blue, and sometimes it's green. The first time I ever got to see Tibble Fork in person was last year when my family rode side by sides through the mountains for part of our family reunion. We brought our fishing poles so we could fish at the lake. Riley was able to catch a few fish, but I didn't. Wah wah wah. It was still super fun, and so breath taking that I didn't care. Okay...maybe I cared a little. I'm a bit on the competitive side of things. 

Now that the leaves are changing colors, American Fork canyon is so pretty! All of the yellow, orange and red leaves are quite the sight. I don't think my phone could take pictures fast enough. Plus the weather in the canyons is a lot cooler, so you need to bundle up. I always go for my plaid tops to wear in the mountains. It's just the perfect mountainy look and feel. Plus I don't think I could wait any longer to bust out my plaid and boots!

How cute is this tee from Mindy Mae's Market?! It's super flowy and soft. I've never been a boho chic type of girl-I'm more preppy in my style, but I just couldn't resist this shirt. I was sad to see that they were out of stock for a while, but they finally came back AND are on sale! 

Also-Please don't mind my messy hair in these pics. It has been super rainy and humid in Utah over the past week, so my hair decided to do it's own thing. You would think I would be use to it from growing up in Oklahoma, but I guess my hair adjusted to the wonderful dry air of Utah.

The weather is finally cooling off here in Utah! This week has been so rainy, and all I want to do is cuddle up in a blanket with my husband and pup and watch Modern Family reruns. When Mindy Mae's Market came out with their lounge raglan sweatshirt, I HAD to have it. And luckily for me, they have a red and white striped one too, so I can get away with wearing them twice a week without having people judge me. I love how long they are. Length is a huge deal for me because nothing bothers me more than wearing a top that is shorter that I'm constantly having to pull down.
