Happy Anniversary with Wood Watches by JORD

Riley and I have been married for 3 years as of September 20th! It is crazy how fast the time has gone, and how much we have done in 3 years. It feels like we have known each other our whole lives. Since it was our 3rd anniversary, I wanted to do something special for him! I know he loves watches, and I wanted to find him a unique watch that matched his style. When JORD Wood Watches reached out to me to help surprise Riley with a watch I had to say yes! They have some of the coolest watches, and I love that they have a watch that fits everyone's style.

One of the things that I loved about JORD, is that the watch comes so beautifully packaged! I didn't even have to find a cute box to wrap the watch in, because it already came looking so professionally done. I just put a bow on top and had it waiting for Riley when he got home.

Riley has been wearing this watch every day since he got it sized (you can also receive it personally sized), and receives so many compliments on it. I love the dark wood with the dark green face and gold detail. It fits Riley to a tee, and I cannot wait for him to wear it in our family pictures! (don't worry-I'll make sure to share them with you all!)

If you love this watch as much as we do-you can purchase it HERE. You can also check out their other options of watches HERE. I promise-you will not be disappointed!

City Select Stroller Sale with The Baby Cubby

When people ask me what is my best piece of advice for new moms (whether they are twin moms or not), I always say 1. Get your baby on a good schedule, and 2. Buy the City Select Double Stroller

Guys-I am not kidding you when I say this is the Cadillac of the stroller world. It glides SO SO SO nice. I never leave the house without it. It folds up nice and compact in the back of my SUV, and I can have my kids in their car seats or in the chairs (as pictured above). There are 16 ways to have the chairs/car seats/bassinets on the stroller. It is perfect for if you have 1 baby or 3 (There is also a glider board and a tricycle type thing that you can attach to it as well). I LOVE that it can grow with my family.

Now that I have you sold on the City Select, I have amazing news for you. It's on sale! That is right! The Baby Cubby has all of their City Select strollers on sale right now. They come in a single ($100 off) or double stroller ($150 off). My vote is the double because you can keep using it as you have more kids. You can find them HERE. I have always loved The Baby Cubby. They're not just your average baby store. It is seriously the cutest place ever. I could spend hours in there just looking at all of the baby gear, nursery decor, baby clothes and accessories and diaper bags.

Here is a little bit more about The Baby Cubby and what makes them so great!:

The Baby Cubby is for every parent out there who has ever felt overwhelmed or discouraged about becoming a parent. Our Baby Cubby team is made up of parents who have been there, we know what it’s like and they are passionate about encouraging, inspiring, and reminding parents how amazing they are and how important their role is.
The way we do that is by finding the best and safest baby gear and providing it to parents in a fun shopping experience where we do things like test strollers on our stroller track, price match everyday - even amazon, offer free shipping nationwide at BabyCubby.com and actively engage with parents via social media and our cubby community blog to discuss some of those hard topics of parenting.
You can read a little bit more about what we're passionate about and why we do what we do on our about us page here - http://www.babycubby.com/about-us/

- We always price match, even amazon, so you know you're getting a great deal
- We carry only the best and safest gear so you can shop confidently (we spend hundreds of hours researching so you don't have to)

Growing The Hendrickson Twins

Ahh the growing bump. I miss it almost every day, although I am very happy to have my babies here. It's crazy to think how fast your belly grows week by week. I'm thankful to have had a safe and healthy pregnancy!

Twin Baby Registry Guide

Twin Baby Registry
While I was preparing for my twins, I did a ton of research on all of the best gear that I would need for their arrival and my sanity. Now that Bodie and Harper are almost 7 weeks old, here are a few of my must have registry items that I could not live without!

I'm sure you've heard all about the city select stroller. Basically it's amazing. It glides so smooth, and the best part is that you can fit up to 3 children on it so you can use it for awhile.

Babies have a really hard time passing gas, so it's important to find the best bottles for your babies in order to avoid those problems. We have LOVED our Dr.Brown's bottles. Since I can't nurse my babies, these bottles have been life savors. Plus they're longer so they're easy to hold when I'm feeding both babies at once.

I actually got the 30/30 car seats, and now I'm wishing I would have had the 4/35 because Bodie ended up being 3 pounds 9 ounces when he was born and had to be in a car bed until he was 5 pounds. Since twins are typically smaller, it's best to have car seats that accommodate small babies. When we brought in our Peg Perego car seats, the nurses were so happy that we had them. They raved about all of the safety features and how these car seats go through additional testing that isn't required to make sure they are extra safe.

The nurses and doctors told us probably 50 times while we were in the hospital to make sure we do not let our babies sleep together. The twin pack and play has been a dream to have, and my babies spent their first 3 weeks solely sleeping in this unless they were being held. It's nice having them together but separate.

2 cameras! Basically enough said. When the babies are sleeping in their cribs it's nice to have an eye on each one of them instead of having an eye on just the whole room.

Since I can't nurse, I've become best friends with my pump. I would recommend buying a pump even if you can nurse just to make sure your babies are draining the milk properly. The last thing you want is mastitis. It's basically the worst thing ever.

We have the rockaroo and the mamaroo, and my babies love them. It's really hard to hold 2 babies at one time, so it's nice to have an extra set of hands to help out. The mamaroo has different settings to help imitate movement. The rockaroo just rocks back and forth, but trust me-it's amazing too. Harper falls asleep in it every single time without fail.

Both Bodie and Harper have gotten colds already, and the rock n plays have been so nice to have them elevated while they sleep so they can breathe out of their noses. I also like that they are light weight so you can move them around easily. Plus they are nice and compact so you can take them anywhere.

It's basically a twin boppy pillow that has been sent from the heavens. I use this when I have to feed both babies at the same time and it cuts down on crying time and feeding time. The twins just fit right in it! You can also use it to nurse, and pull the middle part back and use it as a back rest.

Now that you have your registry must haves for twins,  make sure you register at Target and Amazon. They have the best gifts, and you can receive up to 15% off of your registry! That is really nice when items are already on sale, and then you can use 15% off on top of that. Amazon has been my favorite because people can use their prime for free 2 day shipping. Plus Amazon is always running really good deals on their items, and you can add any item from any website to your baby registry.

You can register on Amazon HERE.

Bodie and Harper's Newborn Pictures

Photography: Madison Larsen

These pictures were taken when Bodie and Harper were 2 weeks old. It's crazy to think how fast time has gone and how little my babies were. I love them so much, and can't wait to share their birth story.

Twin Maternity Pictures

Dress: c/o Pink Blush Maternity (sold out in white. Other colors HERE. Other style HERE.)
Flower Crown: I made it myself
Location: Tibble Fork (American Fork Canyon)

I am officially 30 weeks tomorrow and nearing the end of my twin pregnancy! Crazy to think that I'm already this far along. Time has flown by! I wanted to do maternity pictures, but then I got swollen faster than I had expected. I debated back and forth about whether or not I was going to have them done. I've been very self conscious about it, and the fact that I only have a select few pairs of shoes that I can wear doesn't help. I knew that if I didn't get them done soon, I really wouldn't do it and then would regret not documenting part of my pregnancy.

Lindsay made me feel SO comfortable while we were taking pictures (even though it was 30 degrees outside). I kept joking with her that she needed to photoshop a spray tan on me and make me skinny. Haha!

I'm so happy I have these pictures to look back on. My babies safe and snuggled inside. They're getting so big (3 pounds each!) and I cannot wait to hold them in my arms.
