Happy Thursday everybody! We are so close to the weekend, and I'm getting super excited. My husband and I are headed up to Park City for a nice relaxing little get away since I feel like we haven't slowed down since November. There is always something going on, and unfortunately we've had a few deaths amongst family and friends.

Have any of you been watching the bachelor this season!?!?! I watched it on Monday night with my friend Lindsay while she did my nails. Oh.My.Gosh. These girls are crazy! I'm glad crazy onion Ashley is out, but I will miss her weird shenanigans. My favorite recaps were from Michelle Money and All Time Ever. Maybe next week I'll do a recap, just because there are SO many things that I have to say about that show-and my husband is a trooper and watches it with me so there is always his commentary that I'm dying to share with the world.

Have a great rest of your week, and thank you so much for stopping by and supporting this little blog of ours.

Plaid and a Kushy Foot Collaboration

Top: Brickyard Buffalo (old)
Skirt: J.Crew
Tights: c/o Kushy Foot
Booties: Target (old) similar // similar // similar
Clutch: c/o Lucy and Lyla
Watch: Fossil
Bracelet: Alex & Ani

As you all know, Utah is pretty cold in the winter. I feel like every Sunday I'm pairing my outfits with a set of tights. The tights that I'm wearing are from Kushy Foot, and oh my goodness they're heavenly. They have a padding on the foot part of the tights that is...well....kushy :) It's so nice because I feel like by the end of church my feet are starting to hate being trapped in high heels/booties, but not when I'm wearing these tights. I also like the pattern to the tights because it gives my outfit a little something extra.

Here is a little more about Kushy FootKushyfoot legwear products are one of North America’s finest hosiery manufacturers, and supplier of prestigious private label programs for retailers, as well as a core brand manufacturer. Coral Loafers

Jacket: Mindy Mae's Market (size up if you wear bulkier pieces underneath)
Loafers: J.Crew

Happy Friday!!! I know we typically do a Friday Favorites post today, but this outfit really is one of my favorites right now. It is so darn comfortable! And it's still put together enough that I can wear it to work :) I love mixing stripes with other patterns, so my camo jacket was a must for layering and the added pop of color with my loafers was just trying not to wear all dark colors again.

Riley and I don't have any set plans this weekend, but I think some of my plans are going to be grocery shopping and cleaning my home. And sleeping in because I have not been able to sleep all week! It's kind of weird because I use to be able to sleep anywhere and everywhere, but I guess my body just wants me to stay awake now. Do you guys have any fun plans for the weekend?

Valentine's Day Outfit Inspiration

Top: Kohls (old) similar
Shoes: Dillards (old) similar
Purse: c/o Handbag Heaven
Watch: Fossil
Bracelet: Alex and Ani

When Mindy Mae's Market sent me this skirt I freaked out 1. Because I LOVE lace skirts 2. Because it's perfect for Valentine's Day! I've been looking for a lace skirt for a super long time, and this skirt is going to hard to beat. It's pretty stretchy so it's easy to move around (a definite plus since I teach the 3 year olds at church) and it's such a pretty color. Since it's a great pop of color, I decided to pair it with a light colored blouse and nude accessories. I love this purse from Handbag Heaven because of the feminine detail. Plus you can never go wrong with a good cross body. The nude color is out of stock, but they have a great selection of purses. I love this nude one HERE.

I hope you found some inspiration for your Valentine's Outfit! xox

The day that we took these pictures it was raining, and now as I look back my hair is doing all sorts of crazy things! This is my last blog post with an ombre in my hair-and it kind of makes me sad because I loved the ombre, but I absolutely LOVE my new hair and I can't wait to show you guys! Thank you to everyone who came to the blogger market on Saturday! We had such a great turn out, and it was fun to meet some of our followers :)

Shawna posted about this jacket HERE, and I had to get it too because it is seriously SO cute and it's only $27!!! What?!?! It's a steal. I absolutely love the color and the shape of the jacket too. I always get compliments on it, and I have to say Pink Blush just constantly out does themselves. AND right now they are having a big flash sale and today is the last day to get discounted items! Head over to their site and get yourself some new clothes :)

I saw Abby from Twist Me Pretty style an outfit similar to this one and fell in love immediately! I love the polka dot print mixed with the fur vest (obviously-I love fur vests). Pretty in Pink Linkup

Puffer Vest: Mindy Mae's Market
Jeans: American Eagle
Boots: Frye
Purse: Coach (old) // Similar
Watch: Arvo

Today I am co-hosting The Creative Closet linkup with Jana and Maegen! I'm so excited because the prompt is pretty in pink and I've been dying to share this pink puffer vest. I got this puffer vest from Mindy Mae's Market! Make sure to size up if you want to layer because they come a little snug. Since I wear a lot of neutral colored outfits, this vest gives me the perfect pop of color. I'm sure you'll see it more on the blog later too ;)

This past weekend Riley and I went out with some friends on Friday night and saw the movie Unbroken. Oh my gosh talk about such an inspiring movie. My heart hurt for the main character, but I loved the message of the movie at the end. If you haven't seen it-go see it! I promise you'll love it even if you get a little teary eyed.

Don't forget to link up your blog post below of you looking pretty in pink. Can't wait to see all of them!

Snowflake Print Sweater

Sweater: J.Crew (old) similar
Shoes: Target (old) similar / similar (on sale)

I can't believe it's Thursday and that the weekend is almost here! I thought this week would drag on because it was my first full week back to work since the holidays, but it has flown by. My husband is back at school, and my nights are spent with my dog and working on side projects as well as watching all of my t.v. shows again ;)

Can we just talk a minute about shopping your own closet?! I had completely forgotten about this sweater, and I started cleaning out my closet for the blogger market (see info below) and found it tucked away! If you haven't already noticed, I have a love for J.Crew. I found this sweater there 3 years ago in the clearance section for $8! WHAT?! Amazing! And it's super soft and not itchy like some sweaters tend to be. I decided to add just a little bit of color by wearing my burgundy (or Pantone's color of the year marsala) pants from American Eagle. I felt like it was more laid back wintery outfit.

I hope you guys are having an amazing week! Thanks for stopping by. xoxo

Navy Jacket

Photography: Lindsay Teter
Jacket: c/o Pink Blush
Scarf: c/o Pink Blush (old) Similar
Tee: Target
Jeans: c/o Pink Blush
Booties: Target (old) similar / similar
Bag: Coach (old) similar
Watch: Arvo

If you can't already tell-I'm obsessed with navy ;) And today I'm linking up over on The Fashion Canvas and Walking in Memphis in High Heels for the trend spin linkup! It's all about scarves (another thing that I'm obsessed with)!

When I saw this jacket on Pink Blush, I knew that I needed it. I'm so glad I got it because it's light weight, yet it still keeps me warm on those chillier days. We finally got snow here in Utah, and I was glad that it came on Christmas, but now I'm ready for those warmer days again! Luckily this jacket can be layered with sweaters and scarves so you can still wear it this winter.

And can you believe it's already 2015?! I feel like 2014 flew by in the blink of an eye and now it's already January 6th. I haven't even set goals for this new year for myself. I feel like I just got my life back to normal after having family here for 10 days. I haven't even taken down my Christmas decorations (but I'm really not worried about that one because I would keep them up all year if I could). I have set some goals for this little blog of ours, and I'm SO excited to get those going.

And one more little tid bit of info. All of you lovely Utah readers need to keep January 17th open because we are hosting a blogger closet sale! We have teamed up with other local bloggers and shops so you can shop new/gently used clothing. It's going to be a party-and we would love to meet you. The event will be held at Club Alison in Provo. Check out the invite below for the nitty gritty details. See you there!
