Twin Baby Registry Guide

Twin Baby Registry
While I was preparing for my twins, I did a ton of research on all of the best gear that I would need for their arrival and my sanity. Now that Bodie and Harper are almost 7 weeks old, here are a few of my must have registry items that I could not live without!

I'm sure you've heard all about the city select stroller. Basically it's amazing. It glides so smooth, and the best part is that you can fit up to 3 children on it so you can use it for awhile.

Babies have a really hard time passing gas, so it's important to find the best bottles for your babies in order to avoid those problems. We have LOVED our Dr.Brown's bottles. Since I can't nurse my babies, these bottles have been life savors. Plus they're longer so they're easy to hold when I'm feeding both babies at once.

I actually got the 30/30 car seats, and now I'm wishing I would have had the 4/35 because Bodie ended up being 3 pounds 9 ounces when he was born and had to be in a car bed until he was 5 pounds. Since twins are typically smaller, it's best to have car seats that accommodate small babies. When we brought in our Peg Perego car seats, the nurses were so happy that we had them. They raved about all of the safety features and how these car seats go through additional testing that isn't required to make sure they are extra safe.

The nurses and doctors told us probably 50 times while we were in the hospital to make sure we do not let our babies sleep together. The twin pack and play has been a dream to have, and my babies spent their first 3 weeks solely sleeping in this unless they were being held. It's nice having them together but separate.

2 cameras! Basically enough said. When the babies are sleeping in their cribs it's nice to have an eye on each one of them instead of having an eye on just the whole room.

Since I can't nurse, I've become best friends with my pump. I would recommend buying a pump even if you can nurse just to make sure your babies are draining the milk properly. The last thing you want is mastitis. It's basically the worst thing ever.

We have the rockaroo and the mamaroo, and my babies love them. It's really hard to hold 2 babies at one time, so it's nice to have an extra set of hands to help out. The mamaroo has different settings to help imitate movement. The rockaroo just rocks back and forth, but trust me-it's amazing too. Harper falls asleep in it every single time without fail.

Both Bodie and Harper have gotten colds already, and the rock n plays have been so nice to have them elevated while they sleep so they can breathe out of their noses. I also like that they are light weight so you can move them around easily. Plus they are nice and compact so you can take them anywhere.

It's basically a twin boppy pillow that has been sent from the heavens. I use this when I have to feed both babies at the same time and it cuts down on crying time and feeding time. The twins just fit right in it! You can also use it to nurse, and pull the middle part back and use it as a back rest.

Now that you have your registry must haves for twins,  make sure you register at Target and Amazon. They have the best gifts, and you can receive up to 15% off of your registry! That is really nice when items are already on sale, and then you can use 15% off on top of that. Amazon has been my favorite because people can use their prime for free 2 day shipping. Plus Amazon is always running really good deals on their items, and you can add any item from any website to your baby registry.
